BISHOP TERRY'S VISIT
we welcome Bishop Terry who is coming to visit the parish next weekend, February 18/19. He will celebrate and preach at both Masses.

PARISH DINNER
The parish dinner was a great success. Many thanks to Mark and Julia O'Donnell
who did the cooking and to the Parish Justice & Peace Group who served the food.

PARISH JUSTICE & PEACE GROUP
meets on Thurs¬day 23rd Feb at 7pm in the presbytery.

'GOOD NEWS IN ACTION IN OUR COMMUNITIES'
Is the title of the Diocesan Justice & Peace Conference in our hall 18th February 10am for 10.30am. Among the speakers is our very own Greg Brown. Please bring something for a shared lunch.. Bishop Terry is attend¬ing this as part of his visit to the parish.

BRIDGING THE GAP
there is a conference on local poverty for all Christians at the Trinity Centre, North Ormesby, from 9.30 am till 3 pm on Thursday 23rd Feb¬ruary. Lunch will be provided free of charge.

FAMILY FAST DAY
is on Friday 2nd March - envelopes are available from the tables in Church. And don't forget, every £1 given to our Lent appeal the Government will match - doubling your donation and changing even more lives.

Sharon Whittington, Chaplain at St. Leonard's Hospice, York, will speak on "Spiritual Care at the End of Life" - St. Bede's Pastoral Centre, Blossom St., York. Sat. 3rd March, 10.30 am - 1.00pm. Poster on notice-boards.
